A native of Metuchen, New Jersey, MaryAnne Buckwald was first recognized for the writing and production of very creative commercials for both radio and television in the New England area. Upon discovering “The Greatest Snow On Earth,” Mary attended the colleges of Fine Art and Film Studies at the University of Utah, from which she earned a BFA and BA, respectively.
In 2003, her graduate studies in the College of Communications, at the same University, were put aside for the opportunity of opening her own fine art gallery, South Beach Gallery, in Gold Beach, Oregon. After eight years, the Artist, Writer and Producer returned to her much loved climate of the high desert of Utah. She currently resides in Park City, with her family, where she enjoys skiing and visiting the western states’ many national parks.
