My name is Valerie Glavieux, now Henry. I’m a wild horse and mustang photographer with a passion for beautiful places, beings and vintage machinery. I have been enthralled by wild horses ever since I can remember. My home-base is everywhere and anywhere. I was born in Paris, France and grew up in Montreal, Canada. I am a self-taught photographer and found my passion in wild mustangs, vintage motorcycles and everything in between:). My perspective is what sets me apart, I look for the scarred mustangs, the subtle communication between each being, the tender moments, the playfulness, the tolerance of their life, the simpleness of it. I have dedicated my work to North America’s wild mustangs to portray them as raw as possible and to help bring awareness to their ongoing battle to stay free and wild. 20% of the net profit of all sales goes to organizations such as SkyDog Sanctuary, American Wild Horse Campaign and Return To Freedom that have dedicated themselves to this cause to hopefully keep them free and wild for future generations to enjoy.
