My name is Bruce Larrabee and I have worked as a solo artist for the last 37 years. I took my first pottery class in 1979 and was hooked. I became a full time potter in Utah in 1983 and my work is primarily in clay but I have been known to use other media as well. Each piece of clay is fired in a gas kiln to cone 11 (2400 F). White stoneware and porcelain are my clays of choice. All of the works at Larrabee Ceramics are original designs and are handmade one at a time. The fluidity of my glazes is a trademark of my work. All items are lead free, dishwasher, microwave and food safe. I wholesale my work to over 100 galleries around the country and I own a cozy, charming shop in Park City, Utah called Artworks Gallery.   I live in Park City with my wife of 37 years and I have served on many non-profit and art related boards throughout my life. I also attend many art festivals throughout the year to show and sell my artwork.   When I take a break from the studio, you might find me working on a classic Mustang or relaxing on a sandy beach in Hawaii.   Check out my pieces, their vibrant colors and abstract patterns.
